We have received a message from our employees that the VPN client no longer works with IOS 18.3.2. It still works on older versions or Windows clients.
We use the VPN with our own IDP as 2FA.
As soon as the users confirm the 2FA, we get the message with URLSessionTask failed in the app. (See photo)
Anyone having similar Issues?
I support a utility, and they're seeing the same thing -- iOS devices that are used for "on-call" access to critical systems are no longer working with Fortitoken Mobile 2FA, forcing us to shut it off, which is a major, major, problem.
I was checking https://apps.apple.com/us/app/forticlient-vpn/id1475674905?platform=iphone and it appears there is a newer version 7.4.6 which was released last week. The notes just state -bug fixes. Has anyone tried the newer version, yet?
Yup, we updated our iPads. Still broken. We tried full uninstalls and reinstalls of the new version, no go. Fortinet's excuse of the client being "free" and thus unsupported is such and unprofessional cop-out for paying customers with completely up-to-date and subscribed firewalls.
honekgo1,
I had a TAC case open and they stated that since it is a free product there was no support for it.
So, I closed it this morning. I still haven't heard back from our employees who use it. Guess they will call when they need it.
