I have a four voice FVC – 70 D running the latest firmware build V5.2.5 build 95. I’ve successfully added phones, which are the fortiphone 375, and the phones generally work. However, for some reason, in the extensions when I try to modify the additional settings, including the preferences, call handling, voicemail, and most importantly, key appearances, all of those fields are greyed out, and I cannot edit them.

To resolve the issue of greyed-out fields when trying to modify additional settings for extensions, including key appearances, follow these steps:
Check User Privileges: The issue arises because the User Privileges profile applied to the extension is set to allow access to the User Portal.
Disable User Portal Access:
Call Features > User Privileges.User Portal option.
By disabling the User Portal access, you will be able to edit the key appearances and other settings in the admin portal. This design ensures that the admin does not override user-specific settings.
