Hello. Fortigate has versions 7.0.15 Fortiswitch 7.4.2. They are interconnected with Fortlink. My problem is the following. I plug machine A into any port of Fortiswitch. Then I unplug this machine and plug machine B into the port. When I check in Fortigate, both machine A and B appear on the port when only machine B should appear. What is the reason for this?

Hi,
It is possibly because FortiGate holds the device info for quite some period of time in history when its idle/unavailable before they are removed , there is a config in system setting "discovered-device-timeout" that can be set to a day at minimum.
Best regards,
Jin
I don't quite understand what you mean. When I pull the computer from the port, I don't want the computer to appear under the port.
This is the general problem with Fortigate in ver. 7.Was discussed here one link below
Fortiswitch show devices multiple times on single port . IN my case is exactly the same . device moved between ports and if you change vlan on the same ports.
I'm also waiting for solution because now only one way is just rebooting switch.
@plsikk We solved the problem on that. https://community.fortinet.com/t5/Support-Forum/Fortinac-F-Multiple-Host-Problem/m-p/358922#M256929
