Fortiswitch Media Redundancy Protocol(MRP)

MRP is described in the IEC 62439-2 standard.
It works in Layer 2, being specific for ring networks that have up to 50 devices.
I have FSR112D 34 devices in the ring. Will MRP work correctly? and will rstp work better?

Yes. But, I can't find documentation anywhere what is the maximum number of devices that can be in the ring MRP?
