Fortios 5.6 on Fortigate 80C

Hello everybody,

my apologies for my bad english. I tried to install FortiOS 5.6 on Fortigate 80C.

Installation seems ok, but when fortigate reboots, he stays freezed and doesn't finish boot.

Any idea?

Try to re-flash the firmware via TFTP and boot menu.

I had the same thing with my 300d on 5.2.10 firmware

So I did firmware restore  through serial cable to 5.2.10 (5.6 did not start too). I thing you should update your device to 5.4 first.

I updated my fortigate 80C to 5.4.1 then 5.4.4 and fished by 5.6. It wroked fine. thanks for help
