Fortinet won' t disconnect

I created a custom installed FortiClientSetup_3.0.465.msi... Everything installed fine. I can connect ok to my tunnel. I am unable to disconnect from the tunnel. I click disconnect, & it still remains connected. The client is locked down. When I unlock it, I am able to disconnect ok. My question is... How can I reconfigure the client to allow the tunnel to disconnect in a locked down state? Brian

Unfortunately, that' s a bug introduced in 3.0.465. You have to revert back to 3.0.457 or wait for patch 2 which will be released this month (October).

I know this probably doesnt make it better but, I use the following solution. I put this in notepad and saved it as a .bat file. Then moved a shortcut to the desktop, changed the Icon and renamed it to VPN Start. cd " C:\Program Files\Fortinet\FortiClient" ipsec -b YourVPN (this is the name of the IPSEC connection) exit Did the same for the disconnect. cd " C:\Program Files\Fortinet\FortiClient" ipsec quit To be honest it works better for me as I have a 100 or so employees using 25 shared PCs and it keeps them out of the FortiClient program. One click no questions = less support calls. Makes my life easier. Anyways hope it helps.
