Hi there.
Got a client on a PC which gets stuck at 45% with "Unable to establish the VPN connection. The VPN server may be unreachable. (-8)".
Any clues on how to solve this?
I already uninstalled - rebooted - reinstalled... no success.
Thanks and regards,
F.

Hi guys...
I installed FortiClient and it UPGRADED the existing SSLVPN Client - now it works!
I believe the necessary drivers were missing - these have been for sure installed from the new FortiClient.
Any inputs/updates are wellcome!

How exactly did you fix this problem? I'm having real trouble with it right now.
Just a thought, have you looked into newer NIC drivers on the client?
that has/had been an issue for us when clients get stuck at 89% (although may be unrelated)
Hi PIDDLAW - no, I didn't bother with newer NIC drivers.
Will keep it in mind next time it'll happen.
BTW: is there anywhere some reference of the various percentage errors?
It can be generally causing due to 2FA. Check whether you have configured 2FA for the users
What firmware does the fortigate have? Which client do you have installed?
