Fortinet GNS3 image

Completely new to Fortinet. How do I obtain Fortinet images for GNS3? I created an an account but it's saying I need to have a registered account. Is there any alt method to obtain image? If I manage to obtain any images will it have evaluation license? I just want to test VPN

However, while the 15-day evaluation license could be activated in older FortiOS versions, unfortunately this is no longer available in versions 7.2 and above. Instead, it is requested that you have a FortiCare account and that the relevant devices are paired with this account. You can find reference documents about this in the links below

PS: Please note that the documents are generally valid on a virtual vm instance rather than on vmware or different virtualization platforms.

There is a trial license that you can activate but you probably cannot download the inage unless you have a Fortigate with active support on your account. The trial is also quite useless because of its limitations and you wouldn't really be able to test VPN as it doesn't support any modern encryption algorithms.

Actually you can use nearly all features without needed additional licenses especially the ssl vpn scnerios. In addition, you can use nearly all IPsec, all routing protocols, utm features etc. You just encounter several things like speed test on the sdwan due to need additional license to enable this feature.

However some products must need valid licenses before to do anything such as fortianyzer, fortimanage, fortiadc etc.

Downloading the images you need account on the Fortinet, and this account must have the right to download images. You can follow the below link;
