Fortinac local management

Hello FNAC admins,

So there is this part in the admin guide "Local management". Do they mean that you can access the network device and make changes from Fortinac without accessing the device (example : access a switch and add VLANs), like Fortimanager does with Fortigates ?

This provides a quick-access option to open a new browser tab for the management IP of the network device, as shown below:

Does the device have to be a Fortinet appliance, or this applies to all devices in the FNAC inventory ?

It should work for any network device that has a web-managed interface and responds to HTTP requests on the configured IP under Elements. However, this feature is provided solely for ease of use and is not related to the device integration with FNAC.

But I can use it for example in switches to configure VLANS or MAC traps... etc
