Hi,
I'm emulating Fortinac 8.5 on a virtual machine, the naccontrol.service and nacapplication.service processes are not in execution. Already tried to restart them via 'cli' but I was unsuccessful.
When I try to access Fortinac from the browser I get the message: 'Processes are Down', as can be seen in the attachment.
Can you help me please?

wellington_betta,
Please also check the status of service.httpd and service.dhcpd
If these are not started then this would also cause the Processes Down message.
Did you make a change to the vm container the FortiNAC is in such that the MAC or UUID would have changed?
Please look at this KB article in order to verify:
Technical Tip : FortiNAC ‘Processes are Down’ mess... - Fortinet Community
If none of these work, I would suggest submitting a ticket to support for additional assistance!
Hi,
If it is a new setup, be aware to have internet access in the VM so it can register against Fortinet update repositories.
Here you can find useful information:
https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortinac/8.5.0/hardware-and-vm-install-guides
Also be aware about the license, UUID and MAC address in the VM matching with the one in the license, more information about it in this KB:

Best regards.
