Hello,
I would like to add fortimanager in to our environment and would like to be sure that I can do it correctly.
Right now I have 2 Fortigate (Active\Standby HA Mode) deployed on ESXi infrastructure. Also I have 1 fortigate deployed in Azure. I would like to map these Fortigates to Fortimanager and I have several question.
1 - When I add my firewalls to Fortimanager already exsiting configuration on my Fortigates will synch with fortimanager?
2 - As I know even after adding firewalls to fortimanager I can do configuration changes directly to the firewalls and then configuration will automatically synch with fortimanager, correct?
3 - Are there any specific steps regarding adding Active\Standby HA to Fortimanager?

Hello @Anonymous
Thanks
Although I aggree with @Anonymous that OP's query about initial FMG deployment for FGT-VMs is better to be answered by FTNT's FMG team, I don't understand that this channel is dedicated for FortiSOAR. I think the discussion would benefit all of us who even don't know what FortiSOAR is.

When adding your FortiGate firewalls to FortiManager, existing configurations will sync, enabling centralized management. You can make direct configuration changes on the firewalls, and FortiManager will keep them in sync. For Active/Standby HA, add the primary unit first, and FortiManager will manage the pair effectively.
I've set up a small Boundary Cluster with 2 Controllers and 2 Workers, and I've been experiencing sluggish performance in the web interface. Despite having ample computing resources, the UI feels slow and unresponsive. Tasks like changing the Scope or performing other actions take more than 2 seconds to load, which seems unusually high a flounce dress considering the minimal workload.
