Hi, I have a new FortiMail Cloud license in Gateway mode, and I want to migrate the old one to the new one, but it is expired. Can I do that?

Hi

You can proceed like that.

1. backup the configuration of the old FML, or retrieve it with "show config" command
2. on the new FML enter the configuration section by section, not all at once, in order to see if there are errors and to correct them if any
3. some part of the config needs to be changed before, like IP address and gateway
4. there may be some sections that you do not need to transfer, so check each section before you transfer it to the new FML
