Fortigate60e with LG Smart TV issue

Hi guys , new here :).

Hope im posting at the right place.

I did some changes in my home network yesterday.

Ive changed the Tplink WD9970 Router to bridge mode and setup my fortigate as PPPoe .

Everything was fine , there was internet , Wifi etc.

But since then my Smart tv started giving me errors when trying to open Netflix , LG AppStore etc.

What is more strange is when i open the Internet explorer app i can browse it and everthing seems to be fine.

At the tv Network setting everything seems to be fine also.

Any help guys?

ty.

ive found link that explain what to do and how to determine the best/corect MTU on your unit.

this is not the same link but it similar to the link that i used then.

hope it will solve your issue.

Have you found a solution yet? I have the same problem.

I just tested with another firewall and nailed it to the fortigate.

I do not have anything activated like antivirus, content filter or anything else.

I aslo cannot see anything in the logs.

But as you said netflix, Appstore and all the red button functions are not working. The internal test of the TV says everything is allright.

@BlackHawk88

It would help if you could post the section of code you changed for Dormi89.

what do you mean?

i cant remember exactly what i've did on the unit.

what i can say that i found something on the web after 1 month of searching.

it was something with calculating the right mtu that i should set and then set it.

i wll try to look for the link again for you.

Thank you - Changing the MTU fixed the issue.

I changed the WAN interface to 1460 and it worked

Maybe it's because of the software the router uses.
