there is some strange i am facing. in fortiview sources category i saw my wireless controller ip address in the source

Is controller not expected to generate any traffic?

Thank you for using the Community Forum. 

The FortiView Sessions dashboard is one of the core FortiView dashboards available in FortiOS. It displays Top Sessions by traffic source and can be used to end sessions. You may customize the dashboard as per your needs by using the sort and filter capabilities.

If you want to see session information regarding the IP that you have mentioned you could view ALL sessions for that specific IP address.
