Hello,
on some price lists i do find different versions of FortiGate units, some list EU versions and some US.
I wonder if there really is such a EU/US version difference and what the differences are in detail (encryption limits?).
The datasheet on all current models lists 110/220V as input, so it cant be the power supply.

Some wireless product need meet EU/US standard separately.
I think if you ask the reseller for the datasheet you can see of any differences and to add to your observation it can't be the software , since there's only one software version regardless. I believe that no difference exists in the hardware & this is meer lingo to satisfy the US/EU markets , but I could be wrong.
Encryption exportation is still a end-user responsibility and I don't think you have issues with that regards but I seen Fortinet get strange and request export declaration from the end-user.
YMMV but contact your sales team and ask the questions.
