Fortigate configured as virtually inline explicit proxy server

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to deploy a fortigate as a proxy server in a virtually inline position.  Im not sure though if it is going to work since i have made some research about configuring Fortigate as proxy server and it is only giving me are not meeting up with the requirement.  can any suggest as to what is the best deployment method?  attached diagram for reference
