Please help, I am new to Firewalls. I can ping 8.8.8.8 on both fortigate and the configured interface. Fortigate is able to distribute DHCP but can not route to internet. I believe i configured the static route, and the IPv4 policy properly.
Just for clarification - are you referring to devices behind the fgt (e.g. LAN network) that can obtain a leased IP from the DHCP server (running on the fgt)? If so, did you included the default gate address info in the DHCP info what would be handed up to the client computers? Make sure the dhcp info handed out to the clients have the correct information, including DG and Subnet mask.

Thank you. I just had to fix the DNS, as it was entered incorrectly
