Fortigate Trial 7.0.3 IPS

Hi All,

I am aware there are limitations on the evaluation licenses of the fortigates but thought that just applied to low encryption and web filter categories as per this article.

When I try some scenarios using application control and IPS profiles they are not working. I know what i am doing it correct as i can get the desired results on an old fortigate 30D but on the VM i have running the new version 7.0.3 there are no results.

Am i incorrect in thinking this is possible on the evaluation license?

Hi Eugene,

Yes, it is most likely the case as you have demonstrated the same settings on a 30D that is not limited to low encryption setup/limited licenses.
