I have a Fortigate 60D in Transparent mode and there is no VPN menu in it even though the VPN feature is enabled under the Features menu.
What I need to do is to have the fortigate in transparent mode and then be able to ssl into it with the forticlient vpn and access network resources through it.
Any Ideas why i can't see the VPN Menu anywhere?
Regards, Thanasis
Hi Thanasis,
You cannot configure SSLVPN in transparent mode, this is due to absence of routing in Transparent mode which makes the FortiGate a layer 2 device, you can only configure Policy based Site-to-Site VPN in Transparent mode.

Somu
