Fortigate Syslog File Location

I created a syslog setting and assigned an ip address of the server for syslog setting. where can i locate the syslog file on server and whats the extension of the file

The location of the syslog file containing all the logs depends on the setting of the syslog server itself. Usually it is in config file of server saying that logs from this source IP will be stored in this directory/file.
