Fortigate SPAN mode

Hi  everyone,

I can't add a SPAN mode to an interface with an IP address... I explain :

I added on a first port an IP address at 192.168.11.254/24 on my fortigate and I would like the packets to be duplicated from this interface to an IP address at 192.168.41.1/24.

So I need a SPAN mode on an interface. But the only way to have a SPAN mode is to create a virtual switch to redirect the packets. However, if I do that, my switch has no IP.

Thanks you in advance

Yes, you can't add a SPAN mode unless you have set up a switch so that FortiGate duplicates the packets.

But you can add an IP to the switch, which will be your interface.
