Fortigate Ram Upgrade

I have 2 firewalls model 1101E. It has a total of 16 GB ram, 8 + 8. What kind of problem will I have if I remove these rams and replace them with 16 + 16 gb total 32 gb ram with the same feature?

Ideally we need to investigate why the current RAM is not enough to handle your network traffic and optimize the same. Opening a TAC ticket to investigate this will be the best method.

bcm.user and ipsengine services sometimes use too much memory. i can't figure out why. this puts the device into converse mode.

do you see anything in crashlog "diag debug crashlog read" ?.
