Hi all,
I have created a topology in the EVE-NG software where my FortiGate firewall is connected to a switch, and the switch is connected to the management cloud. Now I want to open my FortiGate firewall GUI in Chrome browser, but it’s not opening.
FortiGate port 5: 192.168.100.16
Gateway: 192.168.100.1
(If I remove the static IP from port 5 and set it to DHCP, I can open the FortiGate GUI via the DHCP IP in Chrome.)
Please help me.

Hi @rohittarang,
If you choose bridge instead of vmnet8 on the vmware side, you can give Fortigate the IP address from block 192.168.1.0/24.
Sorry for the late reply.
This is my current configurations.
Description: VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1
IPv4 Address: 192.168.209.1
IPv4 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Description: VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet8
IPv4 Address: 192.168.198.1
IPv4 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Mobile hotspot :
IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.220
IPv4 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
IPv4 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.105
Hi @rohittarang,

I have 3 adapters.
Network adapter : NAT
Network adapter 2 : Host only
Network adapter 3 : Bridged (replicate connection network physical state)
I am using VMWare Workstation
If you want to give an IP from the mobile hotspot network, you need to match the bridge interface with the virtual machine's interface in the virtual machine settings. According to your configuration, the nat interface vnnet8 seems to be mapped. you should replace it with bridge. If you do not have information about vmware configuration, you can review this document.
As of now, I am using a DHCP-assigned IP address. I'm eager to delve deeper into learning about the FortiGate firewall. Thank you for all your assistance, especially regarding the sniffer command. I'll contact you soon. :)
as of now, I can't access GUI.
