Fortigate Firewall Auditing/Reporting

We have 5 or so Fortigates managed through FortiCloud, so logging into them externally is only possible through RemoteView (it seems). 

We have been trying to use this solution for reporting/auditing - https://github.com/AsBuiltReport/AsBuiltReport.Fortinet.FortiGate , however the FortiGate's are not allowing BasicAuth, so the script ends up failing to connect to the device.

Is this expected once the FortiGate is managed through FortiCloud, and if so, what is everyone using for quick auditing/reporting.  I could go manually review Firewall rules and such, for 5 devices, but looking to find some automated solution before we reach 100 devices etc.

Can you give me some more information on how that would fix my original issues / question?  As far as audit reporting goes?
