1.Abnormal Behavior Dectection: Behavior modeling based on L3-L7 baseline traffic to reveal anomalous network behavior, such as HTTP scanning and SPAM. 2.Detection of DDOS including flood, zip of death, DNS query, SSL DDOS and application DDOS. 3.Graphical depiction of anomalous behavior compared to baseline and upper and lower thresholds.

I have to disagree, this is NBAD ( Network Behavior Analysis Detection ) the op is asking about. Working prolexic-technologies a few years back, we had systems that help look at and analyze NBA. A fortigate by itself is not a NBA device.
It perform to a certain degree various aspects of NBA but not all and it it's done by static thresholds that "you" the administrator set.

Now what the OP needs to look at, is the FortiDDoS appliance which does some of what he's asking about. A fortigate is not the device you want for what asking about.
