Hi.
I tried to enable the new option available in 7.2.4 - "Internet-service-database: On-demand" but after enabling it I get "Fortigate FFDB on-demand update failed" in the logs.
FortiGuard/Internet Service Database Definitions shows Version 0.00000.
CLI: diag autoupdate version | grep 'Internet-service' -A6
Internet-service On-Demand Database
---------
Version: 0.00000
Contract Expiry Date: n/a
Last Updated using manual update on Mon Jan 1 00:00:00 2001
Last Update Attempt: Mon Feb 13 09:44:12 2023
Result: Generic failure
Does anybody have an idea ?

Hello,
I have found this documentation:
Could you please check and tell me if it is helping?
Regards,
diagnose autoupdate versions | grep Internet -A 6
Internet-service On-Demand Database
---------
Version: 0.00000
Contract Expiry Date: n/a
Last Updated using manual update on Mon Jan 1 00:00:00 2001
Last Update Attempt: Fri Feb 17 08:26:57 2023
Result: Generic failure
as you can see after diagnose autoupdate version i get message: "Generic failure"
Can you enable debug and run the update again to get more details.
diagnose debug application update -1
diagnose debug enable
now run "execute update-ffdb-on-demand" to initiate the download
once you see the failure message, disable debug.
diagnose debug reset
diagnose debug disable
Hello,
I will reach an expert and we will come back to you ASAP.
