Hi forum,
I have a new setup with two 800c in HA in NAT operation mode, when plug a cable in wan1 link does not go up.
The same happens with port1, wan2 and port2, while all the other ports work properly.
I think it is related to wan1/2-port1/2 being in bypass group, but I can't find any setting related to this configuration that helps me.
I also found that under both USB port there is a dip-switch, is this related with the bypass feature?
Can wan1/port1 and wan2/portw be configured independently (after getting them working of course :) ?
Best regards,
Federico Chiacchiaretta

This shouldn't be the issue but just to make sure...
at System > Network > Interfaces what is the Administrative Status of the port?
Hi gschmitt, Thanks for your reply. Administrative status is set to up. My guess is problem is hardware related, I never had a similar issue with lower end fortigate, and it's the first time I use FG800C. Unfortunately I can't find 800C-specific docs to help me. I'm quite sure it's not an hardware fault since I have the same behaviour on both unit (2 unit in HA).
