Hello all ,
I am using Fortigate 60F for homelab as below diagram. I want to connect all Wife users and LAN users using the same 192.168.0.0/24 network . How can I do Fortigate bridge mode for LAN and WAN Interfaces , if yes hhow can i achieve it . Thanks in advance for some valid reference.
Hello @uniquewaheed
To put both wired and wireless users behind the FortiGate on the same subnet:
- Switch the FortiGate to Transparent mode and give it a management IP (e.g. 192.168.0.0/24,.
- Create a bridge interface that includes the LAN port(s) and the port connected to your Wi-Fi router.
- create a firewall policy
- Keep your router doing DHCP and NAT.
Now, both wired and wireless users stay on 192.168.0.0/24 , but all their traffic passes through the FortiGate for inspection.
regards,
Sheikh

Please clear managed-switches, disable fortilink and retry.
