Fortigate 60D and Webfiltering
Hello,
New to Fortigate. I have a customer that is having issues with their webfiltering. They have had the product for some time, but have not gotten the webfiltering to work. I can see that the webfiltering is on and licensed. However, it is not blocking sites that are identified. Does each machine have to have the FortiClient installed in order for the webfiltering to take place?

No, you don't need Forticlient to get webfilter to work. Can you post your webfilter config? Which sites not get blocket? Do you use deepinspection for https traffic?

I would love to post that, how do I do that? It is not blocking porn at all. Tried even adding it manually, but does not work. I did not setup the device. Another tech company before us had, and it has never worked.
Please give me some direction on how to post the web filter config.

Do you have access to the FortiGate web interface?

If you have access to the gui, you can simply post a screenshot of your webfilter profile. Maybe also from the corresponding policy would be helpfull.

Thanks for the screens. If you want block porn, you have to extend adult/mature content and set porn (or all of the category) to block --> currently the hole category is allowed (green sign).

Markus, I really appreciate you working with me.
I have made that correction, which it was on before. Sorry for that mix up. But now I have it blocking porn in the config, but i can still surf websites. I have even blocked a known website Chaturbate.com, and i can type it in the browser and it works. I have a license until 9-30-2019.
Something is not working.
