Hello ! Thanks in advance for your help, and sorry for my poor english.. I've search if there is an other thread about this question but I didn't find. I just bought an used Fortigate FG-60D, but it seems to be quite old, the user manual isn't very extensive among all the different models in this range. It's the model without RJ45 console port, but usb mgmt one (see in attachment).
On this page (https://kb.fortinet.com/kb/viewContent.do?externalId=FD44558), I've found that I need the FortiExplorer application, which seems to be no longer available for Windows OS instead of Android, IOS, that I don't own. Thence, I tried to connect using https on 192.168.1.99 ip, after having push the reset pinhole, which worked ! But, the default credentials that must be admin/<blank_passwd> as I saw into the manual, didn't work. Thus, is there a way to reset the device to factory default, without any CLI or GUI, using the reset button ? I've heard about a possibility to download the 2.6 version of FortiExplorer which is the last Windows compatible one, but on the Fortinet support website, they ask me to purchase a contract licence to access to the .exe file..... Is there an other way to download it ?
Many thanks for your help !

That particular design didn't last long. Due to lots of outcry, they put the serial console port back on with later revisions.
You probably need to wait until the unit comes to up before pressing the reset button by checking STATUS LED (should start slow-flashing for the window). See an old thread: [link]https://forum.fortinet.com/tm.aspx?m=167434[/link]
You can use a USB and seria dongle and run the fortiexplorer maybe if you need local console.

Yeaah ! It works !
Thanks a lot, I wasn't waiting enough before pushing the reset button.. Now the credentials are the default ones !
I still can't download the 2.6 fortiexplorer, but it's fine with ssh/https.
I should have done more research before rushing to buy it.
Thanks again, and have a nice day !
