Fortigate 50B

Hi All I quite new in configuring fortigate. I recently bought fortigate 50B to configure for my org. I have two internet lines. 1 for email and another for internet connectivity. both lines have 1 fixed IP. Initially, both lines are connected via modem/router. I tried to follow the quickstart guide bundled with the fortigate 50b but doesnt seem to be able to dial the either connection. however when i set the wan port to dhcp i got the dhcp from the modem/router. i can ping from the internal port to wan1&2 but other than that i am not able to ping outside. Can someone guide me in the right way? thanx in advance. reallllly appreciate this...

Welcome to the forums. Being that this isn' t quite as simple as a home type device (Netgear, Linksys, Belkin, etc.) there is a bit more configuration involved in getting things going. The first place to peek would be the policies. Any policy facing the Internet needs to have NAT enabled to successfully route. (it' s a check box in the policy) Dual WAN is a bit more intricate. Get the Internet availability sorted out, and then let' s move on.
