We brought in a back up line to our facility and it is ATT Fiber.
There is a Fiber line running from the ATT Cienna to the fiber port on our Fortinet 300D.
I cannot get the port to come up when connected.
ATT has come out and proved the circuit is good at the Cienna with a test device.
I have configured the port with static ip and 1000Full Duplex to match the ATT side.
I tested the cable and the Transceivers to verify they work.
When I loop the cable to two different ports they both light up.
I tried replacing the ATT Transceiver with one of mine as well just to make sure there was not an issue there but same result.
I am at a loss and would appreciate any help.
You're sure the cable is multi-mode and your sfp is 1000BASE-SX, then tried rolling the pair between tx and rx, right?
FGT300D has 4 1G SFP ports from port5-port8. Did you try to change the speed option? Let's say "set speed 1000full"? By the way, what is the version it is running on?
