Fortigate 100E firewall compatibility with Microtik Mikrotik RB3011Uias-RM

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some help regarding connecting the 100E firewall via VPN to a Mikrotik firewall.

I'm an electrical engineer for a project and my Contractor is telling me they are worried about incompatibility of the two firewalls.

Can someone please explain to me what potential issues there are? And also the simplest way to do this?

What are they talking about? Incompatibility means exactly what ?

Instead of trying to read their minds with incompatibilities ask them to state what are they afraid of

fwiw if your speaking of IPSEC many deployments exist between these two models and IPSEC is an open standard approx 35 years old if not older. Mikrotik  RM are used in sml to lg and vLGE , they adhere to a lot of RFCs and the same goes with fortigates
