Fortigate 100D change interface speed

Hi

I am trying to change the interface speed of an interface that has a vlan configured on it from 10full to 100full but the interface just goes down and won't come back up until i change the speed back to 10full. Other ports that don't have a vlan attached work fine after changing the speed.

Any help would be gratefully received.

the port going down because the speed is not support by other end device (switch). try to set the speed in switch also
