Fortigate 100D - Multiple APs

Hi all, I just have a (probably simple) query regarding adding multiple APs on a Fortigate 100D. I have already added one AP to the Fortigate and configured the port to be dedicated to the FortiAP, give it an IP address etc and it has worked fine. Now when I go to add a second AP using the same method, we have to give the new port an IP in a different range and configure accordingly. Is it possible to add all the FortiAPs to the same range? And if so, could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance, Harkins

All APs connect to the Fortigate directly? No PoE switch? If connecting directly to the Fortigate then create a new hardware/software switch... System ---> Network ---> Interfaces ---> Create New ---> Type Hardware/Software Then add the ports you want to add and assign an IP range

Bromont covered it spot on. I usually just throw the AP' s on the network and let it ride....just tell it which SSID' s to broadcast. It tunnels anyways.

Beware, although traffic is tunneled is NOT encrypted. At least not default.

As Harkins mentioned he' s got those port/ports dedicated to FortiAP so he' s probably not worried about anyone sniffing the CAPWAP traffic. I typically don' t see anyone using DTLS on the CAPWAP data unless the APs are remote across the internet.
