Fortifone 570 need to factory reset

I purchased a used 570i and whomever the prior owner was, changed the admin password from ADMIN or 25646 to something unknown. I obviously can’t hard reset it to get it to provision to my system. Is there a way to hard reset the phone and erase everything without knowing what that admin password is? Thanks.

I found this solution. Can you tell us if it helps, please?

 

To factory reset a FortiFone 570 without knowing the admin password, follow these steps:

 

  1. Access the Phone Menu: Press the Menu button on the phone.

  2. Navigate to Settings: Use the navigation keys to go to Settings.

  3. Enter Advanced Settings: Select Advanced Settings. The default password is 23646.

  4. Reset to Factory Settings:

    • Choose Reset to factory settings.
    • Press the Enter softkey.
    • Confirm by pressing the OK softkey.

  5. Restart: The phone will restart and reset to factory settings.

 

If the default password 23646 has been changed and you cannot access the advanced settings, you may need to contact Fortinet support for further assistance.
