ForticlientVPN only version 7.4.4?

Hello, I opened a case with support asking about a 7.4.4 version of Forticlientvpn only for windows , they suggested we post here.  

My questions are:

1) Is there a version of forticlient vpn only 7.4.4 coming out for windows?

2) If no can you verify if forticlient vpn only 7.4.3 for windows is not susceptible to https://fortiguard.fortinet.com/psirt/FG-IR-25-685

I have a similar problem with the Mac version - I need an update of the VPN only version to 7.4.4.x

Still nothing from Fortinet. Support keeps hiding behind the fact the software is Freeware and you should purchase the full version. 

We have several Fortigates. We only need a VPN connection for all our users. Fortinet created a basic software version just to create a VPN connection to a Fortigate Firewall which we pay support for. Who is using the client for anything else than connecting it to a Fortigate firewall?

The lack of support and ignorance of Fortinet is stunning. There is a CVE open since the 14th of October.

Ok, new release for the FortiClient. Version 7.4.5. But still no VPN Only update.

In the release notes:

No new version of VPN-only agent
FortiClient (Windows) 7.4.4-7.4.5 do not include a new version of the free VPN-only agent as no feature updates were made to the free VPN-only agent between 7.4.3 and 7.4.5. Users can continue to use the FortiClient (Windows) 7.4.3 free VPN-only agent.

So because it has no new features they will not update. It only contains 2 vulnerabilities....

An other member of the forums ThibElie pointed out in another topic a bulletin where Fortinet told they have fixed the FortiClient VPN only 7.4.3 version!

They have uploaded version: FortiClientVPNSetup_7.4.3.8758_x64.exe.
Be aware this version is not yet published on the public website.

Exciting news, I keep checking the website for the public release. If anybody sees it before I do, please reply back to the thread, I will do the same! Appreciate everyone on this post helping each other out!!!

Looks like both the support site and the regular download on the main fortinet page has the 7.4.3-8758 version.  Going to give it a try now.
