ForticlientEMS installer packages not updating / can't create new packages

Is anybody else experiencing issues creating or updating installer packages at the moment?

 

It appears to possibly be an issue on Fortinet's side.

 

2024-12-10T07:25:53.759+0200 ERROR service/installer.go:391 requesting FCT installer repackage: repackage of Windows setup installers failed: POST to https://forticlient-rs.forticloud.com/rs/api/public/v1/repackagedFCTInstaller/. Status code: 503

 

Edit: This is for v7.4.2 which has appeared in the FEMS console. I see in the support portal that v7.4.2 is actually not available for download. I tried setting up a separate v7.4.1 installer package, with auto-patch disabled, and I get the same error.

It seems to be an issue on fortinet's side , i opened a ticket about it on the 9th.

 

I'm using EMS 7.4.1.

As of 12-12-24 the installer creation for 7.4.2 completed for me.

I created issue 10184057,

move the status of this ticket to “Pending Bug Fix”.

Creation acctualy not working for me in any way.

has anyone received an update from tac in regards to this issue as yet? as it stands on 7.4.1 i cannot build any installers, dowloading from fortiguard or even custom ones by downloading them myself and uploading them to ems manually, how on earth this got through QA is staggering!!!

I do not recive any update nor workaround. Our team must manualy deploy forticlients, massive time waste on our site.

Mine started working again yesterday out of the blue, no action from my side at all, we received the forticlient update notification when i logged in first thing, so they have fixed whatever the issue was

Still not working on our deployments. Our ticket is open since 2024-12-13, and status set to "pend bug fix". 

 

Having to wait that long for a fix is not ok. :(

Same issue here, v7.4.3, tried 7.4.2 and got the same.

Running EMS 7.4.3 build1926
