Hello
We are experiencing a strange issue where endpoints (Usually servers) are randomly dropping the NIC's when Forticlient is installed and the only way to bring them back is to enable/re-enable the NIC or reboot (We are also noticing major performance issues). We have Forticlient 5.6 and all clients are registered with an EMS version 1.0.5.0132. This is a freshly rolled out solution. Things I have tried are.....
1. Uninstalled and re-installed. 2. Disabled all functions one at a time and tested. 3. Disabled compliance.
4. Been through Windows logs. 5. Uninstall Forticlient - ONLY THING THAT FIXES THE ISSUE.
Not really sure what else to try. Anyone else seen this issue or got any ideas?
Cheers,
S.

@Si.Young EMS 1.2.1 is out so maybe that could be an solution? otherwise try Forticlient 5.4.3 with EMS 1.05. Dont have this issues here with that combination.
FortiAnalyzer / 6.4.0
FortiClient / 6.2.6 FortiClient EMS VM / 6.2.6
FortiGate 300D HA 6.2.4 FortiGate 500E HA 6.2.4 FortiGate 30E / 60E / 100E / 6.0.9 FortiMail VM HA / 6.4.0 FortiSandbox VM / 3.2.0
FortiWeb VM / 6.3.2
FortiManager VM / 6.4.0
I have had some similar issue with the 1.0.5 and 5.4.1
I have also had some issues with FortiClient reporting correctly to FortiAuthenticator.
I still have not gotten a satisfactory resolution.
Have you had any luck?

I would 1st read the rls notes for EMS 1.0.5 & 1.2.1 and any issues and then the same with FC versions rls notes and any supported issues.
Than open a ticket with FTNT-TAC.

Noobies first post. Rolled out a 50E with 5 clients using ver 5.6.2.1117. My 3rd party software vendor updated his software that was crashing the VPN connection. He has since rolled back his update. Just wondering if others have had problems with the latest FC version. Thanks
