I am running Forticlient 5.2.5.383 for OS X on both OS X 10.11 and OS X 10.12 machines successfully as an SSL VPN client to my Fortigate 60D. However, I noticed Forticlient versions 5.4.1.514 and 5.4.3.529 both block my VPN traffic when connected to my LTE iPhone hotspot running iOS 10.3.2. I am able to authenticate and connect to the Fortigate 60D, but no VPN traffic goes through.
If I turn off LTE on my phone and force 3G only on the hotspot, the newer Forticlients then work. The older version 5.2.5.383 works with both LTE and 3G, though.
I was wondering if this was done on purpose because of a security vulnerability? Has anybody else noticed this? Is there any chance this will be working again?
Thank you!
