  • FortiClient or FortiClient VPN?
  • Did it work before?
  • What was the last change before it started to happen?
  • Did you notice any error during the installation?

Thanks for your replay.

After installing KB5035853 for Windows 11 Forticlient didn't run. I disintalled it and installed new version 7.2.4.

Any error appeared during installation

Thanks

I just had this last night, had been using the tunnel for some hours and then out of the blue I just got disconnected and also ended up with exactly the same error as well as this in sslvpnlibr1_1 :

[2024-03-28 00:53:57.9921150 UTC+02:00] [11908:13428] [sslvpnlib 1565 error] NULL arguments. hSession=0x0x0000000000000000,pszGETorPOST=0x0x00<REMOVED FROM POST>, lpTarget=0x0x00<REMOVED FROM POST>
[2024-03-28 00:53:57.9922160 UTC+02:00] [11908:13428] [sslvpnlib 1242 error] GetWebPage() failed. bRC=0,strContentType=,strPageLength=0

Also on Windows 11 and FortiClient 7.2.4.

As mentioned, everything worked then just shut down the tunnel without any good known reason.

Hi,

I recently installed the 7.4 version of the FortiClient VPN on Windows 11 and I'm having the same issue. I have a bunch of computers with different versions (including 7.4 version) with no problems, but in this particular computer it hangs when Connecting.

Have you found any solution for this?

Thank you

Same issue here. Last week all was fine on Windows 11. Now is impossible to load/open FortiClient.

Any suggestion on how to solve?

could you answer few question, is it happening to only one user or every one, and is it only to Windows 11 OS or any other OS and have you tried on a different PC and have you any other version than 7.2.4

Just one user, on one other user it solved running FortiClient win "administrator" rights.

I solved my case unistalling Java 22. After rebooting all worked fine. I don't know why there is this issue with Java 22, but it solved my case.
