Forticlient VPN drops out - Maybe switch causing the drop out

Hi

Any help would be appreciated

My home system & work computer (logging into Google, Youtube etc) work well via ethernet, wireless & hotspot with Forticlient

When I use forticlient VPN to link to the work programmes, the Forticlient drops connection within 1 minute

It appears to be the switch doing this. I have a TP link 8 port, swapped it to a Net link and it drops out with both switches.

Is this an issue that can be fixed? Why would a simple switch, drop out the forticlient VPN when connected. Thanks for any help
