Forticlient VPN ARM processer

Hi,
We bought an Microsoft Surface Pro 9 which has an ARM processer.
The point of buying this was to hook it up with the Fortinet VPN, so we could go anywhere and still be connected.
Problem is i can't install it on the Surface Pro 9, due to having an ARM processer.
I was wondering if there was any early access or beta for Forticlient VPN for ARM processers that we could try?

Or is there any other solution?

I tried the Microsoft store app, but that doesn't seem to work with SAML.
The VPN connection is SAML with Azure.

Similarly, in our IT company, we are increasingly troubled by the growing trend of ARM-based PCs becoming the standard, while Fortigate has yet to offer a solution. So far, Fortigate's support response has been vague, with no clear timeline provided, which is pushing us to explore alternative options.

We solved the issue - we kicked all ARM Laptops out of the company. Without a reliable way for SAML VPN they are useless.

Hi, just to add that we're facing this issue at multiple customers using FortiClient EMS.

This is something that Fortinet should focus and work on with highest priority.

Hi Mr_t,

Unfortunately, @fortinet is not linked to Fortinet. He or she is a non-Fortinet user ( we already asked him to change his user name to avoid confusion.)

Concerning your issue, we will find somebody to help you!

Hi all,

I have received this answer from Fortinet TAC:

"Support for FortiClient on ARM-based devices is tentatively planned for inclusion in version 7.4.3 GA, which is expected to be released by the end of February 2025, subject to any changes in the release schedule.

Once 7.4.3 GA is released, please refer to the release notes for confirmation."

Let's see what this version brings.

"Tentatively"...c'mon guys, let an indian mid-school guy rewrite the entire app in like 2 days with Arm64 support without "trying" but simply "doing it".

There is a possibility that a native ARM-compatible version of FortiClient 7.4 could be released in the near future.
