Forticlient VPN ARM processer

Hi,
We bought an Microsoft Surface Pro 9 which has an ARM processer.
The point of buying this was to hook it up with the Fortinet VPN, so we could go anywhere and still be connected.
Problem is i can't install it on the Surface Pro 9, due to having an ARM processer.
I was wondering if there was any early access or beta for Forticlient VPN for ARM processers that we could try?

Or is there any other solution?

I tried the Microsoft store app, but that doesn't seem to work with SAML.
The VPN connection is SAML with Azure.

Hi! Is there a way to use this app for users without admin rights on Windows 11? Thanks!

Have you tried installing the app by selecting "current user" instead of "all users"?Capture d'écran 2024-11-27 113005.png

Hi adibou! It does not work unfortunately. I get the error:
Access denied creating Wintun adapter. Are you running with Administrator privileges?
Are you using it without admin rights?
Thank you!

i'm interested too in knowing when the update with arm processor compatibility is going to be released. I hope soon.

I just made an account to say it’s really time for the client to be released for ARM processors!

So I'd been having this problem for a while, what resolved it for me was setting a metric of 1 to the VPN adapter and 2 to the wifi/ethernet adapter. When looking at a route print I saw that both the local computer and the VPN network shared the same subnet and it was preferring the local range. Setting the metric prioritised the VPN's range and everything works now!

With the windows App client, it works - you have to wait 2 Minutes after connection & it works fine...
But without two factor.... this is buggy too!
It's time for the new client @fortinet
