Forticlient VPN ARM processer
Hi,
We bought an Microsoft Surface Pro 9 which has an ARM processer.
The point of buying this was to hook it up with the Fortinet VPN, so we could go anywhere and still be connected.
Problem is i can't install it on the Surface Pro 9, due to having an ARM processer.
I was wondering if there was any early access or beta for Forticlient VPN for ARM processers that we could try?
Or is there any other solution?
I tried the Microsoft store app, but that doesn't seem to work with SAML.
The VPN connection is SAML with Azure.
Solved! Go to Solution.

FortiClient for ARM is now available on the support portal. Look for the version 7.4.3.

if you encounter the error message 'Sorry, you don't have any product covered by a Fortinet support contract'. please make sure that you're using an account with a valid support contract at least one registered device.

Thanks @rtanagras! succesfully installed and working, but unfortunately there a timeout connection error. The VPN works correctly using Android app, so I guess that could be some settings. I will seek assistance with the client IT.
Thanks again for your support, much appreciated

Hello,
I'm in the same situation and encountering the same error message. I downloaded the FortiClient VPN as directed from the website for my PC equipped with an ARM chip.
I don't have a license; the company's IT team has access. Is it possible to get the link to directly download the ARM-compatible version, 7.4.3?
Thank you, best regards.

hi @TRM - i spoke with the developer team, and they said that only the x86 online installer has been uploaded to this link https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads. let's probably wait until they fix it. let me message you the installer.

Hi @rtanagras,
Great, thank you very much! The installation was successful, and I was able to configure the VPN and connect to my company's server! No more awkward standby solutions with remote connections on my old PC, or using the FortiClient utility from the Microsoft Store that only worked once every 15-20 connections! This is going to be simplify life, and I'll finally be able to enjoy my new PC...
Have a nice day!
