Forticlient VPN ARM processer

Hi,
We bought an Microsoft Surface Pro 9 which has an ARM processer.
The point of buying this was to hook it up with the Fortinet VPN, so we could go anywhere and still be connected.
Problem is i can't install it on the Surface Pro 9, due to having an ARM processer.
I was wondering if there was any early access or beta for Forticlient VPN for ARM processers that we could try?

Or is there any other solution?

I tried the Microsoft store app, but that doesn't seem to work with SAML.
The VPN connection is SAML with Azure.

FortiClient for ARM is now available on the support portal. Look for the version 7.4.3.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/7.4.3/windows-release-notes/549781/product-integratio...

if you encounter the error message 'Sorry, you don't have any product covered by a Fortinet support contract'. please make sure that you're using an account with a valid support contract at least one registered device.

Best,
Ricky

Or maybe on the last day of the first half of 2025 it will suddenly be scheduled for H2 2025.

edit: But at least we are getting updated on the status. Sorry, it’s just frustrating because a lot of people depend on this and they thought Fortinet was large and reliable enough to bet on for this kind of stuff. But there’s surely a reason for the delays. So I wish good luck on figuring out whatever the issue might be for the best of all of us.

A native ARM version of the EMS 7.4 is currently available. The FortiClient endpoint is also under development and tests.

Because Forticlient works well on android, no matter what processor is used. So this is proof that android system is more friendly than windows system.

Dear Ricky,

Could you please share a link to the portal where you can download it? I'm unable to find it!

Also, the link you docs link you shared says the following:

Minimum system requirements

  • Microsoft Windows-compatible computer with Intel processor or equivalent. FortiClient (Windows) does not support ARM-based processors.

Hi,

It's the same if you want to download older version of forticlient
https://community.fortinet.com/t5/Support-Forum/Download-old-version-of-FortiClient/td-p/92701

"You can find the FC installers on the support site (support.fortinet.com). You need to have an account there, though. Then, in 'support', 'firmware' you will find the 'FortiClient' folder, with all (a lot of) different versions."
