Forticlient VPN ARM processer
Hi,
We bought an Microsoft Surface Pro 9 which has an ARM processer.
The point of buying this was to hook it up with the Fortinet VPN, so we could go anywhere and still be connected.
Problem is i can't install it on the Surface Pro 9, due to having an ARM processer.
I was wondering if there was any early access or beta for Forticlient VPN for ARM processers that we could try?
Or is there any other solution?
I tried the Microsoft store app, but that doesn't seem to work with SAML.
The VPN connection is SAML with Azure.
Solved! Go to Solution.

FortiClient for ARM is now available on the support portal. Look for the version 7.4.3.
edit: step-by-step instructions on how to download forticlient

if you encounter the error message 'Sorry, you don't have any product covered by a Fortinet support contract'. please make sure that you're using an account with a valid support contract at least one registered device.

A Beta version is available at fndn.fortinet.net, but I haven't been able to get IPsec Remote Access working yet.

Sorry, @SpyQ1985 and @enricoandreoli, but I can't share the Beta Client. You'll need access to ndn.fortinet.net.
Just to set expectations: it's the full client, not a VPN-only version, and it stops working after a while without an EMS server connection. I couldn’t even get Remote Access (Dial-up IPsec VPN) to work, though that might just be my inability. So, like you, I’m still waiting for the official VPN-only client release.

As previously mentioned we had success with the following app: OpenConnect VPN for Windows
https://gui.openconnect-vpn.net/download/
We have an EMS Instance running and additional Fortitoken as a 2FA. Everything works. Also the Windows Application Store Version of Fortinet Client is working where you need to set up in Windows VPN Settings, but I found OpenVPN more comfortable.
We are using a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen6 Snapdragon

@ppagtech can you get OpenConnect to function with SAML and Microsoft Auth? We have not been able to get that working on a ARM64

@Mr_t Unfortunately I do not have the equipment and ressources to test with SAML and Microsoft Auth and we are not planning into implementing it in the near future. We use Microsoft Auth for some SSO logins on third party services but we want to have Firewall Service strictly seperated from Microsoft Tools.

Fortinet, when we can finally expect it to be supported on ARM?
