Is your FortiClient 6.0? And you don't shut down this machine daily basis? Then it might be a new feature when it detects something like Windows updates happened and something isn't right to start the FortiClient. At least with 5.6 or before, almost every time windows update happens we have to reboot the machine a couple of times to let FortiClient to connect (often stuck at '98%').
Have u try to reinstall the forticlient? What version did u used?
