Forticlient EMS hostname changes back after EMS server reboot

Hi,

We want to hide ForticlientEMS real hostname for outsiders.

Our public DNS name is eg. ems.acme.com and internal is srv01.company.dom, if I put that ems.acme.com in hostname field in EMS (System Settings > EMS Settings > Shared Settings > Hostname). Client will tell in "Centrally Managed By EMS" Host: ems.acme.com. If i reboot my EMS server, then Hostname is again that srv01.company.dom.

Forticlient EMS version is 7.2.3 build 0949.

Regards,

Ville

As I know the hostname will be extracted and populated from the computer name where the EMS is installed (also shown in Pre-defined hostname grayed out). For end host communication the FQDN is used.
