Forticlient (EMS Cloud) for Android.

Dear colleagues,

 

Have any of you managed to register FortiClient in your EMS Cloud using the invitation code? I enter the correct invitation code (all in sequence and with capital letters only). After I entered the, I hope so, correct invitation code in FortiClient, the application minimizes and closes. As a result, it keeps writing that FortiClient is unlicensed and I do not have access to extended options, e.g. saving the password in the SSL VPN connection profile and Always-up connection feature. The FortiClient version is "FortiClient_v6.2.3-build0332-release.apk" downloaded from the support site in the FortiCloud panel. I will be very grateful for all hints. My Android version is 14.

It seems you're encountering compatibility issues between your EMS Cloud version (7.2.4.0983) and FortiClient 6.2.3 on Android 14. While the app might function on older Android versions, FortiClient EMS Compatibility Matrix suggests using FortiClient 7.0.2+ or 7.2.0+ for full compatibility with EMS 7.2.1+.

 

To resolve this, I recommend upgrading to the latest FortiClient 7.2.x patch on your Android device. This should ensure proper compatibility with your EMS Cloud version. Additionally, double-check that your EMS Cloud invitation code is valid and formatted correctly.

 

If the problem persists after these steps, consider reaching out to Fortinet support for further troubleshooting. Remember to avoid unofficial or modified apps, as they can cause instability or functionality issues.
